- The worst drive to Las Vegas I've ever had. Left at 3:00 p.m., arrived at 11:00 p.m. Traffic everywhere until we cleared the Cajon Pass.
- We got together with Jerry Branger, who now lives in Vegas.
- Glen and I played in a World Poker Tour TORSE tournament at Wynn.

- O - Omaha 8
- R - Razz
- S - Seven-Card Stud
- E - Stud 8
- I was so sick on the last day that I couldn't even stop at Original Tommy's on the way home.
- Had some White Castle sliders for the first time in years.
- Went to Fontainebleau for the first time. I really liked it.
- Hiked the Rainbow Vista Trail in the Valley of Fire with several other attendees. It was HOT.
- At the last minute, I joined the Card Night gang for a trip.
- Several of us caught Postcard from Earth at the Sphere.
- Jeff and I had incredibly good luck playing craps at Encore. We each won over $6,000.
- I played in the World Series of Poker for the first time: $1500 Omaha 8.
- I didn't cash, and just missed the second day by about an hour.
- Our friend Fire-Bet Phil from Harrah's Southern California drove to Vegas to meet us. He played some craps with us, and ate with us at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris.
- We went to Mohegan Sun - Virgin (formerly Hard Rock) for the first time and really didn't like it.
- We were losing terribly this trip until the final night when we hit two huge back-to-back craps hands at Bellagio. And Mike and I were the ones that rolled them.
- Former mob attorney Oscar Goodman made an appearance at the first-night cocktail reception, and he told the story about how when he was mayor of Las Vegas, he insisted that he had to appear in any movie made in the city.
- We ate at Oscar's, the steakhouse at Plaza.
- Tim Lawson got permission from Plaza to record video of our group playing craps and later playing Pai Gow Poker; however, the videos did turn out as well as we'd hoped.
- While recording at the craps table, a player threw the dice off the table seven times in a row.
- This was my first trip since COVID-19 broke out.
- We went to Circa for the first time. Sherry noticed how you couldn't smell cigarettes.
- As soon as we arrived, I met up with Tim Lawson and Eric Rosenthal to record a segment for The Bettor Life podcast.
- Caesars Palace had a $1 minimum on the All/Small/Tall bet, while Bally's had a $5 minimum. Seemed backwards.
- A male dealer at Planet Hollywood asked female dealer Lacy, "What are you doing after work?"
Lacy replied, "Take a number."
